As it's been a while since the last BSOD episode, I've treated this as a brand new problem. Please excuse me if I repeat things as I didn't review the previous posts.
If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.
Your BIOS dates from 2011. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.
You have 4 hard drives. What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?
I seem to recall that we discussed the PSU previously and that it was OK. I'd still ask you to test it using the PSU test included in OCCT (free here:
Home )
These devices are disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?
If we discussed this earlier, my advice then still holds
I have noticed some issues that may/may not be related to Virtual Box in Win8
VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter ROOT\NET\0001 This device is disabled.
High Definition Audio Bus PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_AAA0&SUBSYS_AAA0174B&REV_00\4&5581F2C&0&0138 This device is disabled.
In short - enable it, update it, then feel free to disable it again.
Lot's of Live Kernel Events in the WER section of MSINFO32.nfo
Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).
Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program,
then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration):
[DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012):
DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

Remove Gigabyte EasySaver - it's driver (gdrv.sys) is known to cause BSOD's.
If installed, also remove EasyTune (ET6) as it causes BSOD's also
Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
