Solved Driver Power State Failure - Windows 8 Pro 64-bit

Hi

I need your help. Everytime I wake up my Lenovo U310 Touch from Sleep it freezes and then blue screen error : DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. Could you please help me ?

I have attached my files from SF diagnostic tool.

All of the memory dumps blame your Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) drivers. Please update the drivers from the Lenovo website. If a more updated version isn't available from Lenovo, then download/install the latest version from Intel here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.

Driver power state failure error is very annoying Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error. I have found a video tutorial that will resolve your problem . You are only required to follow the steps mentioned in the video tutorial.

Intel drivers

Hi

I tried to update all Intel drivers from http://downloadcenter.intel.com also from lenovo site. Nothing helped.
So then I decided to uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technology. Now i can wake up my PC from sleep and i have no errors or BSOD.

I'm glad that you've fixed it. Could you upload another set of reports so we can see what it did to the system (and what drivers are being used to control the hard drives)? This is just curiosity on my part - I don't suspect any additional problems.

Bsod -----> power state failure

hi all.
i'm having the same problem and dont really know what to do. previously i just roll back update, but still it end up updating automatically. so really need help. here i attach minidump file.
