When i plug in my usb it registers it, opens it and then crashes after about 10-15 seconds. I don"t get it.
At this point, neither do I. You may have to try a more drastic resolution at this point. Specifically, I would create a system image and save it to an external hard drive (if available). Then do a clean install (or attempt a repair) and if neither work, I would suspect a hardware issue. So, if you are not willing to try any of these new recommendations, then I'm out of ideas. Good luck.

You know something came across my mind. Windows 8 let"s you reinstall the OS withouth loosing programs. So it will autimaticaly get everything back to old settings. I could try that out.

    YEP! See here:

    Refresh Windows 8

But I would create a backup system image anyway just to be safe.

Type "backup" in the search box (without quotes)
Select the top link that appears in the search results
Select: Windows 7 File Recovery (bottom)
Select: Create A System Image (top) and follow the prompts

Solved the problem. There was a program causing crashes. It"s called ashampoo HDD control 2. I used it to monitor hard drives health. But i have an alternative

That's wonderful news! Please mark this thread as solved. So did you have to go through a reinstall to come to that conclusion. A bit more detail might be helpful to others.

    Cheers
