I don't have hibernate enabled but after I woke it from sleep it said hibernate failed and then:
View attachment 24446

The only thing I can think of that I installed recently was nvidia drivers 320.49 and this is like a fresh install of windows almost.... Is this an SSD issue? Looks like something from Windows Defender from the minidump. Anything I should disable in the sleep/wake settings like hybrid sleep?

Hope I don't have to reinstall again I just did it June 3rd.

Code:
Windows failed to resume from hibernate with error status 0xC0000001.

The previous system shutdown at 12:27:28 AM on ‎7/‎10/‎2013 was unexpected.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

The shadow copies of volume C: were deleted because the shadow copy storage could not grow in time. Consider reducing the IO load on the system or choose a shadow copy storage volume that is not being shadow copied.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff8800143c447, 0xfffff8800a378bd0, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 071013-6296-01.

The hibernate/sleep stuff in Win8 (also hybrid sleep/start) is a bit confusing to me - but it seems that the default is for the system to go to sleep and, after a while, for it to lapse into hibernation. Disabling Hybrid Start would stop this behavior.

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.

Your Intel RAID storage driver (iaStorV.sys) dates from before mid-2013 and isn't good for SSD's. Try this driver (I got this link on 10 Jul 2013):
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/De...rapid+Storage+Technology+(Intel+RST)&lang=eng
Use the SetupRST.exe file - the other 2 are the "preinstall" drivers for use when first installing an OS that doesn't have these drivers. If it doesn't install, post back and I'll research it further.

Wireless and BlueTooth is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?

There is a program called HotSpot installed. If this is HotSpotShield, please uninstall it - as it's known for causing BSOD's on some Windows systems.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

While I agree with disabling devices that aren't needed, please notice that although the BlueTooth is disabled, drivers are still loading for it:
btath_bus.sys Fri Nov 2 01:35:15 2012 (50935B93)
I suggest either disabling devices in the BIOS, or if that's not possible, then disabling in Device Manager will work - but it's important to keep these drivers updated as they're still loading.

Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

I disabled the main bluetooth program but okay fine I'll disable this as well.

Now what exactly does one do to view currently loaded drivers/third party drivers on the system? I am aware of how to get the list of all the drivers, but no way of telling which are currently running without using third party software. Would be nice to know if there is a way without it.

I download some and I see these 3 running View attachment 24554 Are these related to the crash and made the dump file? Do these need to be turned off now somehow? Why would it still be loaded.

I use Driver Verifier to list them, but I don't enable it.
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "IRP Logging", "Force Pending I/O Requests" and "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next" (
"Special Pool" may be able to be used depending on amount of RAM and errors being seen. In situations with small amounts of RAM, DO NOT select it),

- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"

View the list of currently loaded drivers - then cancel out of the dialog to avoid loading verifier into memory.

The files that start with "dump_" are copies of the driver that's named after the "dump_" and it's automatically done by Windows when the system boots. Leave them alone and don't mess with them.

24554d1373564156-hibernate-crash-3apmi.png

The first 2 are made from Windows drivers, and the last one is made from one of your Intel storage controller driver (iaStorA.sys)

When the system crashes it needs a way to access the hard drive in order to write the dump file to disk. It's these files that provide that function during the crash.

Another BSOD

Haven't had another crash or problem since last post. I am guessing it might have something to do with when the computer goes into hibernate and comes back. Because I went to eat and left the computer go to hibernate. When it goes into hibernate I usually reboot it because last time it woke from hibernate it crashed on me. This time I didn't reboot it and a few minutes later I got

Considering the last crash happened while coming out of hibernate and this one after hibernate, I think it has something to do with it. Is there something W8 does different with hibernate that I should turn off?
