BSOD During Installation

Ok, so I am trying to install windows 8 x64 but it does the new BSOD screen and restarts. This began as a BSOD while running a new install of Windows 7 x64, which led to an infinite loop of BSOD reboots. When I tried to perform the startup repair it would BSOD. When I tried to boot from a Windows 7 x64 installation disk it would BSOD. The stop code was 0x1E with zero's for all subsequent strings. I've flashed the BIOS, most updated version installed (same version as before). Deleted the hard drive data with a kill boot, didn't help.

Here's the hardware specs:

Motherboard - Asus P5Q Pro
RAM - Corsair XMS2 1024MB DDR2 RAMx4
CPU - Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATA 500 GB
Graphics Card - Diamond ATI Radeon HD 4870 512M
Wireless Network Card - D-Link Xtreme N DWA-552
DVD-RW- LG Super Multi DVD Rewriter GH22LP20

What should I do next? Lets assume I'm sticking with the Windows 8 install.

I may be misunderstanding the how-to on setting up a dump file, but if I have nothing to boot to how can I set-up a dump file?

Sorry - really don't want to offend because I need help here, but all these instructions involve having access to windows, which I don't have (I'm using a different computer right now). The hard drive on the computer in question is wiped. I'm not sure how to use the above instructions in my case.

First, you have to understand that the P5 series mobo's are older and may not be fully compatible with Win8.

As there are no reports to work with, here's a link to a brief description of the STOP 0x1E error: BSOD Index - STOP 0x1E
If you notice the "Usual Causes" section, this is one of the more common error codes when compatibility issues are present.

So, for starters, please try these free, bootable diagnostics: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
Feel free to skip the malware scans if you've completed a full wipe of the hard drive with a utility such as KillDisk or DBAN.

Then, please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

The final thing to attempt (IMO) is to physically remove everything that isn't required to install Win8. If you can't remove it, then disable it in the BIOS. If using a USB drive to install, then even remove the DVD drive. Remove the wireless device and don't connect with a wire until Windows is operating.
