Hi,
For around a week now my system has been randomly freezing up forcing me to hard reset the system. More often than not this happens whilst browsing in chrome.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No ideas on this then? If I have missed any info please let me know. I've double checked the BSOD posting thread and I'm fairly certain I have included all info.

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Tip   Tip
Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

You can read more on this error and what to try here... Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try: Stop 124 Troubleshooting Strategy

Try uninstalling ORIGIN then reboot or disable ORIGIN from automatic startup

EADM "c:\program files (x86)\origin\origin.exe" -autostart SIMON\Simon

HKU\S-1-5-21-2146457081-1661836618-3972483416-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

I JUST had this same issue on my godson's computer, total choke on anything you try to do...

I disabled it and got back my performance

then ran spybot search and destroy, and found a slew of adware and toolbars...

Im not sure if he reinstalled ORIGIN back or not, im waiting for his text now..

If origin uninstall/disable does not stop the lockups, then restart your computer into safemode with networking and uninstall your video drivers and let windows reinstall generic drivers, If its stable in safemode with networking then reinstall the drivers by downloading them and not using the cd/dvd or the already downloaded file, download it again..

If lockups return then download a previous video driver version.

He was able to reinstall Origin and it seems to be behaving now..
