    BSOD - IRQL_Not_less_or_equal - SFC stopping

I'm using Windows 8-64bit and I have been getting the BSOD occasionally(usually when I am away from the PC). I have tried running SFC /Scannow and it stops at 63% with the error "Window Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation."

I have also tried running SFC from Safe Mode, with the same result.

I have attached a ZIP file that contains the logs from "SF_Diagnostic_Tool" software.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

    Thank YOU!

    Rodger

    Update

I have just been using my computer for the last 3 or 4 hours and it's been running fine. I went to the bathroom and came back a couple minutes later and I had the BSOD IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal.

That'll teach you to go to the bathroom! (just kidding! :0)

There are no memory dumps in the uploaded reports. Please do this:
    Upload Dump Files:
NOTE: If using a disk cleaning utility, please stop using it while we are troubleshooting your issues.
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Also, search your entire hard drive for files ending in .dmp, .mdmp, and .hdmp. Zip up any that you find and upload them with your next post.

Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDumpMore info on dump file options here: Overview of memory dump file options for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2
C: drive only has about 7% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
    1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
    2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.
nVidia High Def Audio is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?

No signs of BSOD's in the WER section of MSINFO32. This could mean that the BSOD's are happening below the threshold that Windows can detect. So, please try these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
Also, monitor your temps with this free program: HWiNFO, HWiNFO32 & HWiNFO64 - Hardware Information and Analysis Tools

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol 120% software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [S] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/S] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
    Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help
MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install it immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

    Thank you very much
usasma for your reply, I appreciate it.

I freed up more space on drive C: so now when it crashed it had enough space to create a memory dump.

I will check my SSD drivers and controllers.
    I had the
nVidia High Def Audio disabled because I wasn't sure what it did, I re-enabled it.
    I'm not overclocking.

    Please review new attachment.

    Thanks in advance.
