    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

The WER section of MSINFO32 shows crashes due to wireless drivers.

Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates. In particular, your secdrv.sys driver dates from 2006 - and my Win8 system has the 2012 version of this driver.

    Next:
    - download a fresh copy of the latest Atheros wireless drivers for your system
    - uninstall the current Atheros wireless drivers
    - install the freshly downloaded drivers
    - monitor for further BSOD's

AiCharger.sys dates from Thu Sep 22 22:04:40 2011 - please uninstall the Asus AICharger software, it is known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems.

ASMMAP64.sys dates from Thu Jul 02 05:13:26 2009 - This is the ATK Hotkey ATK0101 ACPI UTILITY. Please update it to the latest Win8 compatible version.

atkwmiacpi64.sys dates from Tue Sep 06 21:44:52 2011 - This is the ATK WMIACPI Utility. Please update it to the latest Win8 compatible version.

I downloaded the newest wireless driver and updated the ATK hotkey and utility, and deleted AICharger. I also performed Windows Update but there didn't seem to be any updates available. Lastly, I reinstalled Smart Gesture to the latest version on Asus' website and updated the Intel Graphics 4000 driver. It appeared to have fixed the problem temporarily, but it started rebooting after sleep mode once again. Any other help is greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, A couple of weeks ago my old PSU blew up. It did kind of like a explosion sound and some flashing, very impressive. I inspected the motherboard and I could not find any damage whatsoever. Only the PSU seemed affected. After that I bought a new PSU (Tacens MP700 - 700W), an...
Hello, Every few days my computer will BSOD when waking from sleep. The screen will display this message as the error "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL cmudaxp.sys". Also sometimes the system will crash during sleep but no mini dump will be created. I have looked at the minidumps that were created...
After my computer wakes up, I get a BSOD and it restarts. After running BlueScreenView, the error points to ntoskrnl.exe. Technically, my mobo supports Windows 8, but there are very limited drivers. I ran Windows 8 for close to a year with no problems but had to recently reinstalled it due to a...
Whenever I put the screen down for the night, or after classes, when I open it up again, it informs me of an automatic restart due to a problem it has encountered with files in the Minidump folder and a Local sysdata.xml file. I have attached the file.
Solved BSOD while computer was 'sleep' overnight in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
I heard my PC reboot itself last night, and came on this morning and found the usual message that said "Windows ran into a problem and had to restart". I have uploaded the zip file from the SF Diagnostic tool per the instructions. Thank you much in advance!! ~Bunkei
