    WHEA Uncorrectable Error

    Heya,

My computer seems to crash on normal desktop use and lately even when I'm AFK. All I've done so far is memtest86+ having 3 passes in 7 hours with 0 errors, no idea if it's enough or do I need to run more.

EDIT: Just had another one and saw the bsod msg and it was a WHEA Uncorrectable Error, also uploaded an additional attachment.

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
    1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
    2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.
Please stop using any disk cleaning utilities (such as CCleaner) while we're troubleshooting. It deletes some of the reports that we use.

Too few memory dumps to tell for sure, but it looks like hardware to me (?maybe video or memory hardware?). Start with these free diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

    Thank you for your reply.

I checked the storage controller drivers, those are the latest ones from Intel, also my SSD's firmware is the latest one. I dediced to disable that Realtek LAN Adapter from the BIOS completely as I've got no use for it and got rid of the AsIO driver.

I will run another pass of memtest86+ (minimum of seven) and later will stress the graphics card with FurMark and the CPU with Prime95.

I've changed the WiFi adapter once already as I thought it was the problem, but clearly it wasn't. In any case, if my problem isn't driver related, it might as well be either the motherboard, graphics card or memory. And those I can stress test easily. I will report later how did those tests go.

Just FYI - I'm tending to blame hardware on this one. The errors seem to point to it, so it's just a matter of figuring out which piece is to blame.

I just managed to finish all of the stress tests. The CPU max temps were 59C, graphics card peaked at 67C (4x15min burn-in tests of furmark) and the memory once again, no errors after 7 passes.

To me it looks like that there's something weird going on with the motherboard, not sure what triggers it as those bsod's have only happened on normal desktop use, so I'll gamble and I will replace it. Hopefully that fixes my problem.

I will mark this thread as solved for now. Thank you again for your assistance.

    Hello!

By the looks of it my problem seems to be solved with the new motherboard, I've been running my computer for a week now 24/7, no crashes at all.
