    BSOD MEMORY_CORRUPTION_ONE_BIT - random

Morning gang. I was browsing and listening to music this morning. I went for a fresh cup of coffee and came back to the blue ribbon across my desktop saying that I had a BSOD and windows restarted. Everything has been running smooth until this. I have no clue what happened. Any help would be most appreciated...

I suggest you download Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool and burn it to CD/USB, boot up and run the test for at least 6-8 hours unless errors are detected earlier.

Thank you for responding! I downloaded the program and will run it over night tonight. I ran windows memory diag. and that was clean. I also ran Dells pcdoctor memory diagnostic (I'm using a new Dell laptop) and that was clean as well. what part of the memory or error logs pointed you to this suggestion? I'm trying to learn how to decipher the crash logs myself, so I'm curious

Windows memory diagnostic is no good and most of the time will not detect errors. Memtest86+ is better at detecting errors. Memtest86+ is a stand alone program and will test different patterns so the first few passes do not mean your RAM's are good. There's no log file and the test will run forever until you stop it.

    EDIT:
what part of the memory or error logs pointed you to this suggestion?
The crash dump that you uploaded

I have run several different memory testing tools, including memtest86, and all have come back with 0 errors. I have run a few benchmarking programs and they all came back with scores that are right where they should be...I havent had any additonal BSODs since. Any other suggestions?
