A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x00000024 ( 0x001904FB, 0x83A9DA40, 0x83A9D620, 0x818CA521 )

*** Ntfs.sys - Address 818CA521 base at 818BE000, DateStamp 4a5bbf45

That's the BSOD error message in the computer.

The desktop is Lenovo IdeaCentre K320

Configuration Number : 57121380

Running On Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit before upgrading to Windows 8 Pro 64 bit

Did not do clean install so I can still have my old files.

Running for 2 Days and now stuck at BSOD! I can access the BIOS and change any settings that I want.

Already tried reinstalling the OS of Windows 7 and 8 Pro but still getting the same BSOD.

I can go to Advance Tools Setup and Start at Safe Mode but when doing that all is ok then when windows is starting up BSOD again. Restarting computer... Windows starting up and then BSOD... same cycle for the past days.

And for the final resort I sent back my computer in Fry's and they said they cannot fix it.
Lenovo warranty is outdated so I cannot replace it.
Windows 8 Pro Product Key is been used by this broken computer so I cannot use it in another computer
waste of money for the OS and waste of money on my desktop if I cannot fix it.

Here I am begging for help and maybe you can help me fix my problems regarding this issue!
Decided to post this issue to you guys! Hope you can help me with this.
Thanks in advance

Did you purchase the regular Windows 8 Retail Upgrade or the Windows 8 OEM System Builder?
If you purchase the regular one, you CAN install it on another computer, as long as the ones installed on the broken one is uninstalled.

I think just the Windows 8 PRO retail upgrade, but the problem is I cannot access the desktop anymore so I think there is no possible way to use the product key anymore, just wasted my 199 dollars and now even my desktop is gone! curse windows 8!!!!

As long as you still have the product key, you can install windows 8 on another computer easily.
From my reading to your issue it happens just after installing right?
If yes, then the windows still might not be activated yet, so you can still activate it on another computer as long as you format the broken one, install another OS there (e.g Windows 7).

Probably best to restore the win 7 image you made before the botched upgrade.

I have the key of course but the problem is i already installed it to the computer and now it's broke because of the OS and the bad thing is i cannot reinstall it again cause i'm stuck at startup and get BSOD all the time.

Try doing a Total Clean Install.
The Windows being installed on your broken computer can be transferred to another computer.
