Hello good folks!

I have recently installed my Asus N53SV laptop with windows 8 Pro x64.
Since the reinstall I find I am having BSOD's.
they occur pretty random, I have not found a cause yet.
I tried analyzing the minidumps but I have not found the problem myself
I hope one of the experts here can point me in the right direction!

My system Specs:
Intel Core i7 2630QM
6GB 1333Mhz
Intel HD 3000
Nvidia Gefore GT 540M
Windows 8 Pro x64

Attached are my logs/dumps
Thanks so much in advance!

Indeed it is this driver file, and indeed it's a problem from VMWare!
Thanks so much for your help!

I will try to solve the problem further myself!

Giblet, I also have BSOD with Hcmon.sys. I know this is a VMware USB driver, but I don't want to uninstall VMware. Did you find a fix? Can you offer any suggestions?

Anyone? VMware has been working just fine for almost 2 years, but now I get a crash with the following info:
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\040413-13400-01.dmp
uptime:
00:05:36
This was probably caused by the following module: hcmon.sys (hcmon+0x6289)
Bugcheck code: 0xA
(0xFFFFF9809F876F80, 0x2, 0x1, 0xFFFFF8000354A768)
Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

file path:
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\hcmon.sys
product: VMware
USB monitor

company: VMware, Inc.
description: VMware USB monitor
Bug
check description: This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver
accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
This appears to be a
typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware
problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of
this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following
driver: hcmon.sys (VMware USB monitor, VMware, Inc.).
