Hey all,

I am generally technically proficient but I'm having some issues with all this new technology i've got recently. (I was using a dell xps x702 before).

I just got some new components, Asus P8z77-v LK and 2x4gb kingston hyperx genesis 1600 ram (XPS profile set in bios), an I5-3470 and a second HD6850 2gb (reference card).

I was able to get the 2 cards to work in crossfire, but i've noticed in the last few days, when I put the computer to sleep, it will randomly wake up by itself, and then go back to sleep, several times already throughout the night. After a while I noticed when it awoke again the sound was very messed up and I had to manually reboot. Suddenly now I noticed my AMD catalyst drivers are not loading in the taskbar and they are not in start menu either its strange.

Also it seems I'm getting serious system errors lately as well.

Not sure what is the problem but since there is so much new stuff here like crossfire, new mobo, win8 etc I would look for advice.

Thanks guys and keep up the incredible work!!!

Creative audio drivers date from 2007. Please uninstall them.
Then either update to the latest, Win8 compatible version - or remove the Creative card from the system and use another sound card.

Please update these older drivers (the first 9 are Creative audio drivers - but there are others further down the list). Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
