"INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error when upgrading to 8pro

Hi everyone!

Just got my brand new HP Envy DV7250US with Windows 8 (64) pre-installed. Recently I got boughr windows 8 pro (64) and would like to install/upgrade this on my HP laptop. Popped the 8 pro disc in, went to 'my computer', launch the dvd, installed it. Halfway during the installation, my laptop reboots, which it is suppose to do (installation process) but then when it looks like its starting up, I get a BSOD:

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

It only stays there for 0.5 seconds (so couldnt read the entire error) and reboots again and keeps doing this over and over again.

What did I do wrong? Boot order is set to cd/dvd, my 8 copy is legit because it came with the laptop from factory and my 8 pro is also legit from newegg.com

Thank you for your help and time!

Boot to the installation DVD.
On the second screen (I think) there's an option to "Repair this computer" in the lower left corner of the Window.
Select that and see if it can repair the installation.

If it doesn't work, use the recovery disks that it asked you to make when you first opened up the new computer, and reset the system to factory specs. If you didn't make the disks, you may be able to recover the system by holding down the F11 key during startup.

Boot any way to get into Startup Repair - easiest is with the Win8 Pro DVD.

I already set the laptop to factory settings twice. Right now I have internal dvd drive set as first boot priority. I tried booting the 8 pro dvd but it doesnt ask me if I want to boot windows 8 or windows setup, I dont even get the screen where it prompts you to 'press any key to boot/install/etc.' It just boots up to windows...

Do you have recovery disks for the original Win8? If so, wipe the hard drive completely (DBAN or KillDisk - both are free with a Google/Bing search) and then install Win8 Pro.
