    Another BSoD Victim

    Hi all,

Over the past few weeks, my PC has been crashing during every session of use and regardless of which application is running at the time.

The stated error message is normally DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.

I should probably mention that as of last Christmas, I installed a friend's GTX 570. I suspect this to be at fault but I can't be sure.

Please find attached a copy of my SF logs.

    Kind regards,

    Luke.

yeah always idea man, but first what does WHOCRASHED it says? run it and you have to scroll below to read the report.

I've attached some information from WhoCrashed. Hopefully it makes sense to someone.

All drivers appear to be up to date and functional and as for applications, I've removed any recent installations.

Your BSOD-s were caused by DigitalNow TinyTwin DVB-T Receiver Driver.

The drivers are extremely old (2007 so, I would recommend completely uninstall this software and its drivers from the system.

Use Revo Uninstaller free and uninstall in Advanced Mode to remove the registry leftover of the software:

    Perform a clean boot:

    Perform a System File Check:

    Thank you very much.

I should mention that just as I was about to send this message, a BSoD occurred and caused me to change my mind.

So anyway, I use the DVB-T receiver to watch live television in Windows Media Center as I don't currently own a standalone television. The only software installed is its driver.

I've searched high and low on Google for alternative/more recent drivers but each attempt yields nothing.

I don't suppose you have any experience with this sort of thing?
