Random BSOD with ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe Motherboard

I have been getting too many BSOD every random number of times I restart Windows. I have an ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe Motherboard and Windows 8 in UEFI mode and am using original stock speed using BIOS optimized defaults. I have all the ASUS drivers downloaded from the ASUS website rather than the motherboard DVD. The NVIDIA driver was downloaded from the NVIDIA website. All drivers are WHQL. This happens when using the Intel 82579V controller, when I try the Realtek controller this doesn't happen but ASUS recommends using the Intel controller for best performance.

Most of the BSOD's point to your Intel networking driver. I would suggest:
- download a fresh copy of the Intel driver from Intel Download Center
- uninstall the current drivers/software from your system
- install the freshly downloaded driver from Intel
- monitor for further BSOD's.

If the BSOD's continue, disable the Intel network device in the BIOS and use the Realtek one (update it's drivers from the Realtek website: Realtek )

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
