BSOD, gun getting closer to my head

So, I bought a new laptop on the 3rd Feb 2013, took it home, fired it up and constantly got SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION errors, which caused my computer to restart, on restart it would never be connected to my wireless internet and showed no connections available. I would then have to re-start my computer to get the wireless connection back again. After 4 days of this constantly happening I decided the computer was at fault and took it back to the store for an exchange.

However, I have now had the same computer for a fortnight and it is beginning to do exactly the same as before, constant SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION errors and then not finding a wireless network, plus it occasionally losses internet connection whilst I am surfing the net.

One final thing to mention is that I have another laptop in the house which has no problems with internet connection when the new laptop goes down.

Is this a Windows 8 problem or a computer problem? I could do with finding out pronto as I only have a few days left to take my computer back under its initial 21 day agreement.

Thanks in advance

Your dump files indicated most of the BSOD's are caused by iexplorer.exe (IE 10) and Realtek Wireless LAN driver. I look at the drivers list and RTWlane.sys dated 23/08/2012 which is pretty recent but just to make sure if they have a newer driver, if so please update it. In addition, if there's any 3rd party anti virus software running (Symantec), please temporarily uninstall it.

OK topgundcp, I see that Toshiba have a newer Wireless LAN Driver dated 28/11/12. I'll try this and see how I get on.

Are you suggesting to uninstall my Virus software while I update my driver, or are you suggesting to uninstall it to see if this is causing the problems?

I'm reluctant to not have any Virus software running constantly.

Thanks for help so far.

When installing any kind of software, you should always turn off anti virus. In this case, I suggest you to completely uninstall it also.
Anti Virus from Symantec, MaCafee are known to cause problems with Windows 8.

Windows Defender that comes with Windows 8 is sufficient enough.

Good Luck !!!
