ntoskrnl.exe causing system_service_exception BSOD

Note: Please disregard what it says under "My System Specs" for this post. This post is about a different computer.

I bought a Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5359 laptop a couple of weeks ago. It came with Windows 8 (64-bit) pre-installed. Every now and then, the laptop gets a Blue Screen of Death with a "system_service_exception" error message. The BSOD doesn't appear during just one specific event. It has appeared at different times while doing different things (surfing the web, running Windows Explorer, etc.).

I've run Blue Screen View on the minidump file that was produced by this error and it points to the ntoskrnl.exe driver as the cause of the crash. I've attached the output from Blue Screen View as a .jpg file, titled "BlueScreenViewOutput". The original minidump file, which is in the "SF_22-02-2013.zip" zip folder, is also attached in case anyone wants to run it through their own debugger.

Other than Windows updates, there isn't any software installed on the computer other than what was pre-installed by Toshiba. I have, however, removed all of the Norton and WildTangent software that came with the laptop. I've also updated the video driver to its most current version through the video card manufacturer's (AMD) website. Also, the BIOS is up-to-date.

I've also run a memory test and "sfc /scannow", but neither came up with any errors. Running an error check on the drive didn't produce any problems, either.

I've already attempted to restore the laptop back to its factory state, but I ended up getting the same blue screen after a couple of days.

I'm out of ideas. If anyone has any suggestions, or if you need more information, let me know.

Thank you in advance.

Some more info to add:

I tried booting into Safe Mode to see if I still get a BSOD. I do, along with the same "System_Service_Exception" error message. I also reseated the RAM and ran another memory test, this time with Memtest86+ (I used "Windows Memory Diagnostic" before). Once again, the test showed no errors.

I've attached another minidump file, but this time with all of the info that is collected using the "SF Diagnostic Tool" that Windows Seven Forums provides.

.Wow.

I think I had the exactly same issue as you a few weeks ago, I have a Toshiba Satellite C850D-11Q.
Heres how I solved the issue: System Refresh.

But as you said you tried doing that before, when did it start? If it was a few days after getting it, I would send it back.

The issue came up for the first time a couple of days, maybe sooner, after using it for the first time. I'm actually in contact with Toshiba tech support regarding the issue. If they find a solution, I'll post it here.

After telling them about the error message displayed during the BSOD, they said that they think it's the OS. Since the OS came pre-installed, they'll probably have me send the laptop back.

They do send out pre-installed installation disks of Toshiba customized Windows 8.

Interesting. Then perhaps they'll send me one of those disks if they conclude that it is indeed the OS. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

A final update:

Toshiba tech support finally got back to me yesterday. They told me to do another factory reset. I did, and I got another blue screen 10 minutes later. I called tech support again and they told me to send the laptop to them for repairs. They think that it's a problem with the hardware.

Thank you to those who contributed to this thread in an attempt to help me resolve this issue.
