Solved Frowny Face, Driver Power State Failure.

Hello, my fellow Windows users. I'm having a problem that is not /too/ much of a nuisance, but I'd rather not have it on my back. Now, I got this problem right after I uninstalled MacFee (who is known for their fair share of diver issues). During the restart, a Windows update also occurred. It did it's thing, but as it was trying to restart after the update, about five minutes later, the dreaded frowny face appeared. I ignored it and moved on.

Now today, I restarted for another update, and was again greeted by this emote. I've tried debugging it, but an annoying permissions issue keeps arising (even though I am the admin, go figure). So, I was curious if anybody could help a poor soul and his Lenovo get through these rough times. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm late for work, this is gonna be quick:

Remove McAfee (you have 2 antivirus' installed). Ensure that the other does not have a firewall, then make sure the Windows Firewall is enabled.

If McAfee is already uninstalled, search Google for the McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool (MCPR) and use it to remove any remnants of McAfee.

Also, check other network aware programs. Hamachi (LogMeIn) dates from 2008, so it's gotta go.
Post back and this will notify me that you've done this (and presumably we'll need to move on).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Hey, mate. Thanks so much. I wasn't able to update the Disk Driver due to Lenovo services being under maintenance, but I was able to remove MacFee Security from my laptop and restart without any errors. I was sure I deleted everything MacFee on here, but it seems I was wrong.

Again, thank you.
