As the title says, I've been getting the said error when playing games.
I already tried updating my graphic card's vga and vbios drivers, with no further results.

It is being caused by Logitech Gaming KMDF HID driver.

Try to find updates from Logitech - Support & Software Downloads.

Also do some general USB related troubleshooting. For the port, first, uninstall and reinstall the USB ports drivers.

  1. Right click on Computer icon > manage. It will open the computer management window.
  2. Click on "Device Manager" in the left pane, it will list all installed devices up.
  3. Expand "USB Serial Bus Controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  4. Click on one item to select, then right click and uninstall.
  5. Do the same for all.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate drivers.
And, Disable USB Selective Suspense too.
USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off

For the devices, first, detach all the USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse.
Then, Update the drivers for them all, including the keyboard and mouse, if any third party drivers are installed for them.

Let us know the results.

My Computer

I already have the latest drivers from logitech (for both the mouse & keyboard).
Also, both devices are usb, so I can't really uninstall all devices from the USB universal bus controllers list, since at some point I am unable to select anymore.
ps: Thanks for your quick reply

EDIT: also, I just disabled the selective USB suspend feature as prompted.

Is there no other way out of it? I'd like to avoid having to get another one if possible

As it is the Logitech driver that is failing and crashing, and that cannot be updated, it is to eliminate the driver, it is keep it away from use to stop the crashes.

Apparently there is no other way, as far as I can say.

Well, I'll see what I can do to grab a hold on a new mouse.
Thanks for your time, I'll mark the thread as solved
