Hi everyone,

I am experiencing regular BSODS, at least 1 a day. They are occurring randomly, not necessarily under stress. I'm a newbie so I have no idea what is wrong. When it bsods, I get DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. According to bsodviewer the error is in hal.dll.

I am running Windows 8 64.

The log collector is attached. TIA to anyone who can help.

The majority of your mini-dumps are pointing to the file: afwcore.sys which belongs to Agnitum Firewall: Driver Reference Table

I highly recommend you un-install/remove this for testing purposes.

I have found some drivers/programs that are out of date on your system. You should update these to Windows 8 64bit versions or un-install/remove it not needed:

ElbyCDIO.sys & VClone.sys - CDRTools/ElbyCDIO/DVD Region Killer/VirtualCloneDrive (elby CloneDVD™ 2)/AnyDVD: Driver Reference Table (please remove this program for testing purposes)
truecrypt.sys - TrueCrypt driver: Driver Reference Table
vstor2-mntapi10-shared.sys - VMware Virtual Storage Volume Driver: Driver Reference Table
afcdp.sys - Acronis File Level CDP Kernel Helper: Driver Reference Table (please remove this program for testing purposes)

Please ensure you have all the Windows Updates until you can install no more if you have not done already.

-cheers
