Had this problem a while ago, thought it was fixed with replacing my motherboard the second time.
Got a new hard drive after someone analyzed my Memory.dmp and minidump files. I attached the SF tool's zip file in hopes that there is something else visible that I can attempt to fix.

It's a fairly fresh machine.

If there are any questions feel free to ask, I'll answer as promptly as possible.

Thanks a bunch,

MW

edit: SF tool's zip.

Only 36 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have at least 40 or 50. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions). I strongly suspect that this hold true for Win8 systems also.
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

It figures, the one you say is "very important" to update is the one that idk where it came from. I have an asus board and an i7 2600 cpu. I'm not sure where I would find the download for it. I went to the posted link, followed the download link, and searched for Management Engine interface but nothing looked familiar. Everything else is being worked on.

Thanks for the help.

Okay so the bsod's seem to have stopped, but with any more than 3 programs running (such as a game, Yahoo Messenger and Google Chrome) I get lock ups. No mouse movement and if I'm listening to music, the noise is demonic. Any suggestions?

Bonjour is gone. That seemed to help it for some time but over the past two weeks, they've been getting more frequent again. I hate to pull up an old thread but its still relevant. I've attached the package again.

Edit: The check disks came back fine.
