Hi,

Since I upgraded my computer to Windows 8, I get a BSOD each time a boot my computer.

So, here's what's happening :

  1. I start my computer.
  2. BIOS boots.
  3. Windows boots.
  4. I see the login screen.
  5. Afer 2 minutes max, even if I'm logged or not, BSOD.
  6. Computer restarts.

After the restart, if the computer don't go in sleep mode, it's OK. I've got no problem. But if it goes to sleep, then I get a BSOD and then it restarts.

I attached the files generated like the Posting Instructions says.

I'm on that problem since 2 weeks.

If you need something else, just asks.

Thanks for help...

Do you still need help with this? If so, please post back and I'll see what assistance I can provide.

Please also do this:
- open Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

You have a Linksys WUSB600N Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win7/Win8 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7(and I suspect with Win8) - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7/Win8 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

You have the Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver that dates from 2005. This is a known cause of BSOD's in some Windows systems. Please get the latest version (2009) from the Asus website for your motherboard. It's likely to be a Win7 version, so use compatibility mode to install it. It'll be located under the ATK or the Utility section on the downloads page. If unable to locate it, please post back with the exact make and model of your motherboard so we can locate an alternate source.

Your Hauppage TV Card drivers date from 2007. Please either update them to a Win8 compatible version, or uninstall the software for the card and physically remove the card from your system.

If these things don't stop the BSOD's, please run these free diagnostics: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
Please post back with the results.
