i have just bought a new laptop from Asus, K55V with window 8 64 bit and since then it´s having lots of BSOD's.
It´s almost half the times i want to shutdown or restart the machine, takes about 4 minutes and then appears the blue screen.
Please un-install/remove every trace of Virtualbox from your system for testing purposes. If your BSODs stop then maybe downloading the latest version would be fine. The other two files your mini-dumps appear to be pointing to were pci.sys and vwifibus.sys but these are Windows Update files and are unlikely to be the cause of the BSOD.
I have also found some out-of-date drivers on your system which you should consider updating to Windows 8 64bit versions or un-installing/removing from the system if un-needed:
atkwmiacpi64.sys - ATK WMIACPI Utility: Driver Reference Table(you should consider removing Asus Utilities from your PC as some are known to cause BSODs) AiCharger.sys - Asus Charger Driver: Driver Reference Table (please remove AI Charger from the system, known BSOD creator) ASMMAP64.sys - LENOVO ATK Hotkey ATK0101 ACPI UTILITY (2009): Driver Reference Table
Please update drivers to Windows 8 64bit versions from your manufacturers website. This should include Utilities/ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities and anything you think should be updated: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download K55VJ
Please make sure you have all the Windows 8 updates until you can install no more.
Well, I have not unistalled virtualbox because all the work i have there but i did unistalled ATK WMIACPI and Asus Charger and until now, after 3 restarts, nothing bad has happen. Seems that the problem is caused by thoose utilities. In the future, if something goes wrong I will post it here.
Thanks for all the help
