i dont really know what the problem is but i keep getting what i THINK are blue screens. one time i saw the blue screen clicking on the classic start menu program, the other 2 i did not see. i keep my pc on over night to download stuff of the internet and i wake up to see it has restarted it self. same happened as i went to school this morning to finnsh the download. i think there blue screens becouse it says windows did not shut down properly or something when i log in. also when i installed windows 8 and installed my programs it ran really fast, but i just turn it on now and now its saying cpu running at 25 percent with only steam and utorrent running witch before this latest crash it was 3-7 percent. it also took much longer to boot up and its feeling over all slugish. and its not my pc's specs becouse it was a just bulit gaming PC.

thank you all for looking at this!

EDIT: i just played starcraft 2 and im getting 40 fps tops witch before the latest crash i was getting 120+ fps. this is really starting to bug me, will a reinstall of windows 8 work?

Try attempting a reinstall of windows IF you are using a disk incase the computer crash's during installation. The computer will restart after recieving a BSoD.

May I recommend these following methods to solve most issues:
  • Run a virus and malware scan.
  • Update ALL your drivers except BIOS, since if BIOS goes wrong you can brick your motherboard.
  • Run "sfc /scannow" and "chkdsc" in command prompt

If you can't access your computer, please try booting into Safe Mode with Networking and attempting there.
