Windows 8 BSOD

Hello

I've had this bsod problem for a long time, but couldnt fix it by only browsing the web. I was hoping you guys could give me a hand here.

The BSOD mainly happens when i've chrome turned on, which makes me think it has something related to some network driver.

I also ran Bluescreenview, and almost all my errors have this in common(almost, not all): ntoskrnl.exe+7a669 (last one i got was +177df2)

I got like 5 bsods today.. lol

You have 30 dump files over a month period since 12/4/2012. I only look at 2's today and they both indicated your AVAST anti virus caused the BSOD. Please uninstall it, Windows Defender is sufficient enough.

Wow... That explains a lot. I've always used avast free even with windows 8 :S

Is windows defender really reliable?

I only have 30 dump files because most of the times i dont let it generate the dump, i just press reset.

Also, i've uninstalled avast. Lets see.
