Ok well basically my PC is freezing and its getting on my nerves. Its freezing a few times a day and I am unsure what to do.
So basically so far I have tried
Switched out the ram with different ram from my other PC which temporarily it lasted a little longer how ever froze not long down the line. So as far as I am concerned RAM is not the issue because it is fine in the other computer. Also I switched my ram from my PC into my other PC and seems to be working fine. Ran a memtest no errors found.
I switched out the graphics card for my other graphics card in my other PC and then yet again another freeze with the drivers installed etc so to my knowledge this isn't the problem.
Hard drive - I switched this out with a brand new one I purchased for testing purpose and took it back under the guarantee after I installed the HD then reinstall the OS with a legitimate ISO which works on my other PC. In no time at all another crash. So I used a hard drive i know which works repeated the process. Yet another crash. So im taking this is not the problem. CHKDSK has been done founding no problems.
PSU- This is a very sturdy PSU It is a 850W xfx black edition modular, It worked fine in my other build and now its in this build within no time at all these problems occur so i don't think the PSU is the issue because why would it start as soon as its in a different PC?
CPU- I got somebody to place my 8320 in another setup and stress tested with Intels software as i believe and yet it was fine as far as he is was concerned and he is a IT technician by career so I take his word as gospel.
The install- Like i said previously works fine, placed on numerous systems I have so this is not the issue.
Symptoms: Random freezes and lockups mainly during a game or generally a stretch of time. There has been times sometimes ive tried to boot up the PC and it hasn't made it to bios because there is no visual display but the PC is on and the fans are moving. As far as im aware its threw out a lot of indications of things I know its simply not so My good guess its the MOBO. It has BSOD before its even on windows which indicates hardware and not software problem.
No heat issues as far as HW monitor reports. Drivers up to date. No viruses and nothing overclocked. Sata cables have been switched around to see if that is the problem. Problems persist, so what on earth do you think is the problem?
All help appreciated.
