    0x3b System_Service_Exception in cdd.dll, Win 8 Pro

I ignored the first crash but it's happened twice at the same point in CDD.DLL - AddAlphaBlendCommand+0x1c1.

First crash was while doing a search across the C: drive for a particular file.
Second crash was during a SyncToy file backup.

Had no problems for 6 weeks under Windows 8 - crashes have started since upgrade to Pro Pack earlier this week.

This problem device may be causing you problems:
WD-NAS SWD\DAFUPNPPROVIDER\UUID:4E2BBCD9-0A4B-0B0E-5401-64364C0C3975 This device cannot start.
I presume it's a Western Digital NAS device. Please ensure that you have Win8 compatible drivers for this device - otherwise remove the software and (if possible) physically remove the device from your system.

Memory dumps point to the video sub-system. If updating the drivers doesn't help, then try these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

    Thanks John

WD-NAS device is accessed only through network share for backups - the "twonky media server" device unused but now removed anyway.
    Video drivers updated.
