Hi and thanks for letting me join this forum...

Please Help
3 weeks ago my loving wife purchased for me Acer Aspire V3 I5 processor 8gb ram and 100% hassle and stress.....

I cannot explain in word's the amount of stress and anguish its caused in our Household...

I have included the sf zip folder and hope there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel....And i mean not the constant blue light we see as the machine crashes in a blue screen.......
I have had these issues in various states .Without anything but factory programs installed .
As i install my list of programs i use on my win7 system(which never crashes) i am faced with this constant restart bsod.
I have installed various audio Production Programs ie( Acidpro7 and Reason 4)to the system i dare not use them for any of my recent audio project's...

I hope there is somelight but this dam Blue Screen.
(i cant believe it hasnt crashed while iam typing this post )
Phew

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    windows 8
This device is disabled:
Bluetooth USB Module USB\VID_0489&PID_E04E\6&226C637B&0&1 This device is disabled.
Is this deliberate? If so, why?
Please:
- enable the device
- update the drivers to the latest, Win8 compatible drivers
- re-disable it again (if so desired)

Try this:
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free anti-virus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus If using Windows 8, enable Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall instead.
- un-install the McAfee from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of McAfee using this free tool: How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR) (This link has changed a lot. If it doesn't work, search for McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool)
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free anti-virus (if using Win8, enable Windows Defender), then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- Perform a full system scan to ensure that no malware has snuck onto your system.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

If that doesn't stop things, then I'd suggest starting with these free diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
If the hardware is faulty, take it back to the store where it was purchased and ask for a new one (depending on the store's return policy).

Please update these older drivers (don't do this unless the system passes all the hardware diagnostics). Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
