Seemingly random BSOD's different error message most times

I'm completely stumped and I don't know how to read error codes very well. I'm using an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop with core i7 processor. I recently upgraded to a ocz vertex 4 SSD because I thought maybe my old HDD was going bad and I wanted the speed bump anyway. The system ran pretty stable for a month or so afterward but over the past week has been giving me BSOD's like crazy. Sometimes I get a BSOD and other times the screen goes black and I have to restart. It also randomly goes black and restarts. I reinstalled the OS earlier yesterday but it hasn't seemed to solve any problems.

We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:
There's not a whole bunch available to test SSD's. The "easiest" test is to remove the SSD, install a platter-based hard drive, install Windows and test for stability that way.

Here's some suggestions:
- Update the SSD's firmware to the latest available version (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)
- Update the motherboard controllers drivers to the latest available version from the controller manufacturer (NOT the mobo manufacturer unless you can't find any on the controller manufacturer's website)
- Slow the memory (RAM) down to the next slower speed (I've only seen one person who claimed that this worked for them).
- Use any manufacturer's utilities that you may have. If you don't have any, then try this free one (I haven't used it myself): Crystal Dew World
- Update chipset and storage controller drivers to the latest available from the manufacturer of the device (not the manufacturer of the motherboard). Be sure to update ALL controllers on the motherboard!
....NOTE: Recently (Nov 2011) we had BSOD issues with the Marvell 91xx controller and an SSD. You may have to switch controllers also.
- Replace the SSD with a platter based hard drive and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it does, then it's likely that there's a problem with the SSD OR an incompatibility with your system.
It's my opinion that SSD's aren't reliable enough (with current hardware) to be used on a system that needs to work reliably. Until I see reliability I will not recommend, nor will I use, SSD's for critical applications.
06 Dec 2011 - This post tends to confirm issues with certain SSD chipsets and certain controllers - [SOLVED] cant find the cause of BSOD F4 - Tech Support Forum
29 May 2012 - The frequency of BSOD's with SSD's seems to have been decreasing over the last several months. It may be approaching time to re-evaluate my stand on their suitability for use in production systems.
10 Nov 2012 - I'm seeing an upswing in SSD errors - but most appear due to older storage controller drivers. I strongly suggest NOT using storage controller drivers that don't date from 2012 (if none are available, don't connect an SSD to that controller)

Please go to the manufacturer's website and install all the drivers for your system:
Base System Device PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_365C103C&REV_00\4&30DABE86&0&01E4 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Then get all available Windows Updates (it may take several tries at the Windows Update site).

There is quite a lot going on in your minidumps, I'm not sure I can pinpoint one cause (maybe the experts can be best suited to help with that) but I will let you know what I found.

The latest minidump is pointing to the driver: nvlddmkm.sys as the cause which is your Nvidia graphics card driver. You can try totally un-installing that driver by using something like Driver Fusion first and then re-installing them again. Be aware when using the trial version of Driver Fusion you might have to run it and reboot twice to get rid of every driver entry:

Driver Fusion: Driver Fusion - The Complete Driver Solution

Nvidia Drivers: Drivers | GeForce

It's also possible your graphics card is not in your PC correctly, you might consider taking it out and then re-seating it or using a different PCIE slot for testing if possible.

In at least one of your dumps it points to the file: PMB.exe which is the Pando Media Booster software. I would consider un-installing this software if not needed.

One of your dumps is also pointing to the file: LolClient.exe which appears to belong to the game League of Legends by Riot Games. I would make sure this game is fully up-to-date, also if the game has an option to use Directx 9 rather than 11 then I would choose that in the options for testing purposes. If you no longer wish to play this game then I would un-install it from your system.

Finally a minidump seems to be pointing to your anti-virus product. If you're using Avast I would un-install this and use Kaspersky or the built-in Windows 8 Defender. If you wish to use something else make sure it's 100% windows 8 compatible.

There are a few drivers on your system that you should consider updating or uninstalling/removing if they are not needed:

NETwNs64.sys - Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 5000 Series Adapter Driver for Windows 7: Driver Reference Table - NETwNs64.sys
Rt630x64.sys - Realtek PCI/PCIe Adapters: Driver Reference Table - Rt630x64.sys
Accelerometer.sys - HP Mobile Data Protection System Accelerometer: Driver Reference Table - Accelerometer.sys

I'm currently using Windows Defender which is baked in so I'm not sure where that is coming from. I am also running a laptop and I don't think it will be possible for me to reseat my graphics card.

I wanted to point out that my computer was having troubles before I switched to Windows 8 and I purchased the SSD in hopes that it was my HDD that was the culprit. Is there any way I can begin to pinpoint if my SSD is the trouble maker here? I did a memory test and my ram checked out. My power supply seems to be working properly and everything powers up so I don't think it's my motherboard. Or is this exclusively a software issue I'm working with? I'm working on updating the drivers right now.

Can I get some fresh help on this? I'm uploading quite a bit more dump files. The BSOD's have increased significantly as of late and I still have found no pattern. I'm thinking about building my own computer using my current hard drive but I wanted to make sure the SSD wasn't the main culprit here before I use the good ol' infinite money card.

Thanks in advance

Have you taken the steps that I suggested in my first post?

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

05 Jan 2013 - very interesting post about difficulties with the Marvell controllers even when not connected to the SSD drives: https://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cr...-pc-reboots-when-waking-sleep.html#post169956

The following devices have problems:
Base System Device PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_365C103C&REV_00\4&30DABE86&0&01E4 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Not Available ACPI\ENE0100\4&3650E961&0 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Base System Device PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2383&SUBSYS_365C103C&REV_00\4&30DABE86&0&03E4 The drivers for this device are not installed.
I believe that the Base System Devices are your Memory Card Reader. The ACPI\ENE0100 device is likely to be an IR (InfraRed) device on your system. And the VID_138A&PID_0005 device is a Validity Sensor - likely a Fingerprint sensor.

Please download and install the latest, Win8 compatible drivers for these devices from the HP website.

IMO we're looking at a low-level problem or a hardware problem. Fixing the 3rd party stuff (and the BIOS) is essential to nailing this one down. For starters, please remove the software for the Saitek device, and physically remove the device from the system. Also remove the Western Digital software as it's a known cause of BSOD's.

Please update these older drivers (note that the first 3 are related to the stuff that I just mentioned). Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
