Intermittent BSOD

Hi, about a year ago I have put together this system and installed Windows 7 on it. Soon after that it started BSOD about once a week. Since I have a Vertex SSD in the system and have heard about it could possibly cause some BSOD once in a while, I didn't think too much of it. But it felt like the BSOD were getting more and more frequent. Sometimes I would get a few in a row, but sometimes it could be stable for more than a week.

Fast forward to two month ago, I purchased the Samsung 840 SSD intending to use it as the boot drive so I can eliminate these annoying BSOD. I installed Windows 8 on the SSD and the BSOD were still there!

Please help me pinpoint the cause of these BSODs! I have run mem_test86 for 11 hours with no error.

One more thing I've noticed is that, a lot of the time the extensions or even the web pages in Chrome would mysteriously crash. For the extensions, sometimes it is not possible to relaunch them again.

okay, i just came through a crazy fit of BSODs when i tried to wake my computer from sleep! I had to restart it more than 3 times to get the desktop. Twice it was BSOD when i was logging in, once it couldnt even get past the windows 8 logo!
And even now, when i opened my Chrome browser, all webpages crashed and reloading them doesn't show anything.

Attaching dumps... I enabled driver verifier yesterday...

Okay. I did run memtest86+ before for 11 hours with no errors... I forgot how many passes though.
I will run memtest86+ probably tomorrow during the day and report back at night.

I use the Windows Defender or something like that? I didn't download any AV as i heard the Windows 8 came with a good AV...

Thanks for all your help so far!

Update your ssd to the latest firmware available.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Hi, Sorry for the delay, so I made sure both my SSD's firmware is up to date.
Actually the OCZ Vertex had a new firmware and I had updated it.

I am not sure where to find updated version of the drivers you listed?
