Was watching Youtube, the sound stuttered, video froze, sound played on, mouse unresponsive, Ctr-Alt-Del to no effect, BSOD appeared with reference to DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. I have a dump file here, but not all the ones specified in the "How to Configure Windows to Create a Dump File when you get a BSOD" instructions. Am hoping one of you kind folks can figure it out with the dump provided. Deep indebted... Thank you. Cheers!

With only one memory dump and no reports we can only perform a small bit of the analysis. Please follow the instructions here and let the app finish running: https://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cr...e-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html
Give it at least 15 minutes before giving up on it.
The memory dump blames IDSvia64.sys - a component of Norton protection programs. Please:
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free anti-virus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- un-install the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free anti-virus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

If the above steps don't stop the BSOD's, please zip up and upload any new memory dumps with your next post - and we'll see what we can figure out from there.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

- Further info on BSOD error messages available at: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html
- Info on how to troubleshoot BSOD's (DRAFT): http://www.carrona.org/userbsod.html
