    Audio Hardware Triggering Shutdown

I am using an external soundcard on my laptop (Komplete Audio 6), which every few days or so triggers a sudden shutdown.

I had the same problem on windows 7 and thought an upgrade would solve it....

    Things I've tried so far...

    Disabled the 'USB Selective Suspense'
Reinstalled/Updated Drivers for the NI K6
    Used different USB ports
    Uninstalled/Reinstalled/Updated USB controllers
    Ran windows update
    Updated all drivers on laptop
    Virus/malware scans etc.

Please see the attached file for the dump file.

    Thanks in advance.

I've tried downloading Firefox and made it the default browser but the Metro app still insists on taking control when a link is clicked. That might be OK on a tablet, but it certainly isn't on a PC. I'd love to...
