The following suggests a cache is failing. To test this partially, please underclock by ~25%. Please use memtest86 or windows memory checker to test your cache as well. It's also possible to disable a cache, but the system gets very slow. You can also run windows on two processors (cores) rather than the max.

Usual causes: Hardware, Incompatibility, May be driver corruption

Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

This crash is indicating the CPU cache, which may be due to several causes.
If you are overclocking, re-set BIOS to Optimized Defaults.
Use Real Temp , to check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing. Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.
Your CPU's max core temp is 77.6°C
Intel® Core™ i7-2700K Processor

Update all drivers from the Asus support site, including BIOS if there is a newer version.
If you haven't updated your BIOS before, let us know and wait for our response before attempting the update, there can be problems if not done correctly.

When everything is up to date and the CPU temps are known, you can run a CPU stress test to check for the CPU stability.
