To setup for small minidumps:
Open 'Control Panel'
Click 'Advanced system settings' in the upper left corner
Under 'Startup and Recovery' click 'Settings'
Under 'System failure':
Check the 'Write an event to the system log' box
Un-check 'Automatically restart'
In the 'Write debugging information' drop box select 'Small memory dump (256KB)'
Under 'Small dump directory:' it should be '%SystemRoot%\Minidump'
Check the 'Overwrite any existing file' box.
You must have the Page file set up to at least to your RAM size, or let Windows configure.
To set the Page file size:
