    BSOD help please :)

    Hi there,

I've been getting more and more frequent bsods.
I've run memtest and chkdsk all many many times with nothing but passes. So i figure it must a be a stray driver?

Your help would be very much appreciated

    attatched are the bsod dumps.

    Thanks in advance!

Check for malware. Use memtest from hcidesign. sfc /scannow. Use driver verifier.

I've used memtest, i've run 9 passes in a single go and have done that twice.
I've already used sfc a few times, no other system files seem to need repairing
I'll check for malware, but I doubt it as I only just did a clean install of windows 8 not too long ago.

Thank you for the suggestions though, I hope further help will fix the bsods

    Looks like hardware to me
Download speedfan and test for over heating
    and other hardware problems.

    CPU is at 90C
and something called AUX is at 53C

    everything else seems pretty normal.

I have 3 case fans, and the CPU has it's own fan, how else can I cool it down?

EDIT: just checked to see if there was any cooling gel on it, it was completely dry. I shall buy and apply some asap, and i will let you know if the computer bsods after that

thank you for the advice... even if it doesn't cure the bsod, at least i caught onto my cpu not cooling properly

Hey rich, I've reapplied some cooling gel between the cpu and the fan, however according to speedfan, the temp is still 85-90C.

However according tot eh AIsuite and the BIOS interface, the temperature is much lower around 40C

High temps can be a real disaster. That 90 can cause major damge if its accurate, but I doubt it. Lets use this software to verify.

    thanks for your speedy reply

This software says that each core is between 33-40C

and that "Tj.max" is at 98C

EDIT: tj max is not fluctuating at all so i'm assuming that's not a reading, but rather the maximum my cpu should ever do?

    I doubt it its 98C.
If you still have your manual, look up how to perform the diagnosic tests. It will chk memory, hard drive, etc. That would be a good indication of problems.
Download and use crystal diskinfo, for a quickie on your hard drive. Its better than chkdsk
