    BSoD: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

    Hello,

I have been getting the BSoD (reporting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION) at random lately, however as the days go by it is becoming more and more frequent - sometimes it happens as soon as 5 minutes into my working session. Can't associate it to any specific action on my part, or any specific software.

Thanks in advance for your valuable time and help.

This implicated IDSvia64.sys, which is from norton. Remove or disable it for now. Also upgrade the realtek driver first.

I follow it, installed upgraded driver, but no crash and no internet either, it slows connection to a crawl. I disabled for now the web shield and will keep eye on updated driver. Thank you very much for pointing the culprit out.

So far, the BSoD has not come back! Let's hope it stays that way.
