hello to this forum, im new member here so introduction is in order.
i am from israel and a student and recently i bought overseas a monster laptop called alienware m18xr2 with dual SLI gtx680m , i7 3820qm and 8 gb ddr3 ram and an ssd 128gb drive for boot and 750 gb seagate hybrid drive for data.

so to the problem i am having:

after lets say a month give or take after i got my laptop i noticed a 1st time i have a problem it was when i have watched a movie or a tv show no matter with what app( vlc wmp etc) sometimes the video froze and the sound froze with it me hearing alooping sound and the system released after 30 seonds or so and everything acted normal, i want to say that i did not get any blue screens and the system did recoved and after a while it was happening very frequently and i was on win 7 at the time and i got the system freeze even while roaming the windows or surfing and in such cases i got the display driver crashed and recovered message, the most important info i got to tell that with games im running them 100% with no crashes and my temps are very good, well i then upgraded to windows 8 and kept all my files intact without formating the machine and the crashes while surfing didnt happened yet but the freezes while watching movies still happen and frankly im very sad at thinking that some hardware malfanction i might of having with such an expensive machine and about how ill need to transfer warranty and fix it here in my country.

i have norton 360 installed here in win 8 and it was in win 7 aswell. i have the latest sound drivers and graphic drivvers, i have tries to run only on 1 cards and not sli, i do want to avoid formating all pc and install fresh because i have tons of movies and things id rather keep.
i have gave up and decides to seek aid and thats how i found you guys, i run the application you have provided in other posts and grabes all the log files and zipped them.

i am sry for the long post but i beleave the more info i give the better picture ull have.

Please run driver verifier

One of the minidumps implicates L1C62x64.sys which seems to be atheros ethernet. Please update it. Other implicate general networking.
Atheros & Zidas drivers

Uninstall third party firewalls and antivirus and vpn solutions and norton.

Run the basic display driver of windows.
