Just a few minutes ago I was on windows 8 talking to a friend of mine on Skype when my pc froze. Since it was unresponsive I force shut it down and booted it back up. When it starts windows 8 it stays at a black screen for about 20 seconds and then tries to launch the windows 8 automatic repair. After about another 10 seconds it comes up with a blue screen saying this:
Your PC needs to be repaired.
The application or operating system couldn't be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors.
File: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Error code: 0xc0000001

Press enter to try again
Press F8 for startup settings

No matter which option I choose it always comes back to this problem. Sometimes the error code changes to 0xc000007b. Please help. My computer is a MBP Late 2010 Bootcamped with Mountain Lion and Windows 8

- please run these free, bootable diagnostics: www.carrona.org (don't always work well with Mac's - try the SeaGate Seatools - and you may have to use keyboard shortcuts as it usually doesn't contain mouse drivers).
Start with the hard drive test as I suspect it's the problem.

As this is a Mac, the inbuilt diags may still be working, so you may be able to test the hard drive with them also.
Using Apple Hardware Test
