BSOD, drive power state failure

Hello,
There have been many problems since installing W8 from the Shutdown and Restart button being unresponsive to USB 3.0 failures to nvidia driver issues.

Anyhow, I've had numerous BSOD since upgrading from W7 Pro, so I did a clean install of Win 8 Pro afterwards. But now I've encountered another recent issue, a drive power state failure. The problem occurred when I was removing my USB 3.0 PCI card and dusting off any dirt because I've come to believe the card is dead (device manager shows a yellow ! beside Renesas usb 3.0 xHCI). I booted the computer and when I snapped the side plate back on to the case I get the error.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Welcome
It takes several BSODs to ascertain the definitive cause of your problem. You have given us one report and it mentions a driver. It is a Microsoft Driver and not the true cause. After a few more BSODs report again.
