Hi Gurus!!

i have an brand new machine. i installed my old win XP and then did a clean install upgrade to win 8.
it seems that when the computer tries to go to sleep (or change energy consumption), i get a BSOD and restart with message DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.
i cannot understand the DMP file, even though i really tried.

can someone help me out? what driver is bad?

attached is a DMP file. i am not sure i will be able to run SF tool on my home computer. will try later.
[h=2][/h]thanks a bunch,

DanDan

Welcome
Your BSODs are caused by a driver. Either update driver or remove the corresponding software.
