    BSOD after waking from sleep

    Hello all,
So I have Win8 Pro 64bit and every time i wake up my laptop from sleep i get the BSOD. It hasnt happened at any other point apart from waking from sleep. Also if this makes any difference, when windows is supposed to collect the information and restart my laptop for me it never does, it just sits on 100% and never shuts off so I have to do a cold boot.

Anyway here is my system dump hopefully someone can help me with this

Your reports are consistent, which is good. the cause of your problem is a driver. Either update the driver or completely uninstall the appropriate software.

    Productname:
    Hotspot Shield® Routing Driver

    Description:
    Hotspot Shield Routing Driver

    Company:
    AnchorFree Inc.

I have given your post priority due to our misunderstanding.

Ok thank you so much that was very helpful, and i understand its just an honest mistake lol, i do have one little question tho.
How would i go about uninstalling that driver, i looked through a lot of my files and cant find it and where to uninstall it?
    Thanks

There are two things that you can do. If you know what software is related to the driver, you can uninstall the software.
If you want the software, you go to the website of the software manufactuer and update the driver.

I just looked this hotpoint software is, its an anti virus. Uninstall hotshield, from the control panel, programs. Then download and install Microsoft Security Essentials, its free.

Thanks so much Rich, yeah i actually had a proxy client installed called Expat Shield, that was the reason for the driver coming up, its strange that it came up as an antivirus though.
But anyway i couldnt have figured out this mess without your help man, thanks agin

Hello everyone, I get a BSOD when waking my Laptop out of sleep. I believe this doesn't happen on Win 8 with no updates applied. So I think it may be a Windows update or driver that is causing my BSODs. I do not believe its hardware related like a failing HDD. Though I could be wrong.
