Welcome
The cause of your problem is a driver netio.sys. This is usually the result of network problems. Go to device manager>network adaptors. Find the manufacturer of your network drivers and go to that website and update.

It appears that there are three adaptors. Please see attached screenshot.
The Relatek adaptor already uses latest driver and no newer driver is available for the Intel adaptor and I don't know what to do with Microsoft Kernel debug adaptor. What should I do now? Thanks again.

Go to the intel site and they will search your computer for outdated drivers.
Go to realtek site and update
You cannot go wrong by updating all. If you have most current, you dont lose anything.

Intel search said that I need to go to manufacturer's site, but my machine is fairly old so they don't offer anymore updates.
And for realtek, the website offers an older dated file, and I tried to install it anyways, but it says that it does not support this operating system. Hmmm. What else should I do?

BTW, is Windows 8 unstable or is it just me?

Thanks again.

Eight is a new OS, manufacturers may not have the best drivers available, yet. This was a major problem with Vista.
