    Random firefox freezing/crashing?

Ever since installing windows 8 rtm i have had to use chrome which is ok but not ideal for me. Firefox has been crashing very very often on rtm. Also when it isnt crashing left and right it just flat out freezes and i have to wait a while for it to respond again. It did not do this on dev or consumer previews or windows 7. I have latest drivers for win8 from ati and all my other drivers are up to date as well. Why is Firefox doing this for me, any solutions? I already tried re installing the rtm fwiw

If you got 64bit Windows try Waterfox 15 instead:
    Waterfox - Home

    Works well here.

I didn't have any issues with FireFox in Win 8. But I didn't do more than 4 days worth of testing so it's hard to say. Oh and @Hopachi... thanks for the link.. Waterfox looks great so far.

Hi, For around a week now my system has been randomly freezing up forcing me to hard reset the system. More often than not this happens whilst browsing in chrome. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Other than a few minor hiccups, the only issue I seem to be having after upgrading to Windows 8 is some freezing and very slow performance. I may right-click something, or open a window, and it might take minutes instead of a fraction of a second. Sometimes, Explorer will crash or freeze. Other...
