Changing Home Page

I have the Windows 8 consumer review. The home page is AVG search and I want to change the home page to my local weather when I open IE 10. The current home page for IE 10 is AVG search. I do not like this and when I tried to change the home page the way I do with Windows 7 the home page remains AVG search.

If you don't need AVG search, then you could uninstall or disable it.


If that is not an option for you, then you might see if you may be able to use either option in the tutorial below to specify the home page you wanted and prevent it from being able to be changed may work.
