    yahoo suddenly search engine-want ''windows' back..


    hello - how do i get my www. windows search engine back - how did i lose it and end up with YaHOO -- don't like it ....thanks

    www.windows is not a search engine, you may previously have had either Bing or Google. Do either of those sound familiar? Which browser are you using?

    yes! it was google for search in the past ! went to google menu upper rite screen -settings but showing bing !!

    went ''settings' (google menu) shows google is default browser- it was always set like that but now i'm gettiing bing or yahoo as 'search engine' area

    I understand that but which browser do you use? I will guess Internet Explorer.

    PS WHEN i got ''google'' i thought that became my ''browser'' ... i don't use I..E. at all .. ii know i have a browser but how to find which one is what i'm confused about ...sorrry for being so 'dense' ! PPS: WENT TO GOOGLE MENU /SETTINGS - SHOWING 'GOOGLE CHROME AS MY DEFAULT BROWSER -
