Both online(non browser) poker sites I play on seem to freeze when starting up. When the Not Responding status appears on Task Manager Com Surrogate becomes active at about 25% of the CPU. I seem to think Com Surrogate is resolving something that is normally done by Java, aspect of Java, activeX, Adobe or something the poker software expects to be available. After a couple minutes, it has been 20 a few times, the software works. No "not responding" and the com surrogate task is at 0 CPU.
Not so bad if you're just starting to play but if you have been disconnected it could cost you a lot of money.
I have Java and Adobe installed but who knows what's what with their instructions being written in Greek speak. I'm 70 and my learning curve is at pixxed off.
