you have an HP system.. correct?

I do know that HP always has a ton of Bloatware software usually installed .. and something could be helping load into memory from one of those programs too..

but i'm totally just throwing ideas out there now..

otherwise it's actually a good thing your computer is using Ram as opposed to not using it... remember you paid for Ram.. it should be used.. not "unused"... and putting things in Ram means your computer goes faster so.. not really a major problem when you think of it like that..

maybe others can also try to open those pages and see what memory numbers they get as well.. it would be nice to see a couple of other computers run those web pages and see if they are exactly like my ram usage or totally different as well..

I have 10GB but that's not the problem. The browsers stutter and then freeze.

I use a combo of Opera and Chrome and both browsers keep having tabs crash and state they are out of memory. Sometimes I will open one of the browsers and will get the crash message right off the bat, or just open a new tab and I will see it. Chrome Imgur Opera Imgur Task manager right...
Hello all. New member here. I have had an issue with my PC since I "upgraded" to windows 8.1 earlier this year that is driving me batty. Unfortunately, I upgraded the hardware (motherboard, CPU, and RAM) at the same time, so I can't rule out a hardware issue completely. The issue stuck around...
I've been looking at the Surface Pro and other tablet/laptop convertible machines fitted with Win 8. The top-end models usually offer only flash memory in stead of a hard drive. The standard 128 GB flash memory available seems hopelessly inadequate for storing Win 8, a full range of programs and a...
After my new build froze up during boot up into Windows 8, I tried to run Windows 8's built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic, extended setting, but it got stuck at 21% of 1st pass (10% overall) after running it overnight (at least 12 hours). I had 4x4GB memory modules, and re-ran this test with only...
