Solved Bookmarks reappear in Chrome after deletion

Hi

After I delete bookmarks they later reappear in Google Chrome. If I delete them again it happens again. I had this problem before and it stopped for weeks but strangely has started happening again. I've researched the problem but am still not sure. On a few sites it says go into Settings and select Stop and Clear. I don't have this option (I have 8.1) I have Reset Sync. Will that work the same way? I'm just being careful because I've got heaps of bookmarks and am concerned that if I do this they will all disappear. Thanks if you can help out.

If you are signed in to Windows with a Microsoft account, then they may be getting synced back before it's able to update. This would be the Web Browser sync setting.
