How to disable new mail alert for junk? Outlook 2013

Yes i believe so.

on your email name (under fav's) right click junk. then click IMAP folders.
next click Query. you will see the junk folder. select it then click Unsubscribe!

Thanks for the reply, but i dont have IMAP folders under junk when i right click on it..just properties and no where to get rid of it.
